What's the Point? 2025 Exhibitions

Having recently wrapped up the second of our two key exhibitions for this year, we’re taking time to reflect on what these events really bring beyond the stands, the products and the coffee-fuelled days. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: at the heart of what we do is relationship.

There’s something invaluable about the atmosphere at these shows; the buzz of an industry coming together; talking products, services and solutions, but beyond that there’s the stories, the questions, the frustrations and the ideas. For us, it’s about far more than being able to showcase what we do. It’s about being present in the conversation, to listen and learn, to understand the needs of the industry and to adjust accordingly. These shows are often the place where we find inspiration for new products or ways of improving our existing products. In previous years, it’s given us the opportunity to understand the need for new updates and modules on the digifobpro, to expand the data we collect from vehicles with the digiDL-HX and most recently confirmed the demand within the industry for a solution just like vtach.

At the CV Show back in April, we managed to pre-arrange with a number of our partners to come and see us with various topics of discussion, and found it to be a time that strengthened relationships as well as knowledge. With the NEC being connected to Birmingham International Airport, we were able to meet with partners from France and Italy, as well as many from across the UK.

Celebrating the 25th edition of the CV Show was a highlight; sharing time, food and drink with hundreds from across the industry was a high-point for us and with the acquisition of the show by the Nineteen Group and the recent announcement of the colocation with the new Bus & Coach Expo for 2026 – we’re excited to see if this will bring a new lease of life to Birmingham in April next year.

Having parked the Tachosys Tour Truck for a seven-week rest, we took it back up the M40 but this time to Stoneleigh Park. Road Transport Expo carries a different feel and with a much tighter focus “that’s all about the truck and everything related to it”, we find many of our conversations to be more in-depth and less “what does this button do?” Slightly envious of the outdoor exhibitors enjoying the warmer weather, the show provides a great experience throughout with the conference programme, catering outlets, a pub and of course the host of over 300 exhibitors, including all the major HGV manufacturers.

Conversations with visitors at RTX

One of the high points of exhibiting is receiving positive feedback about our products. It enables us to continue moving forward, expanding our product range with new ideas and improving our existing products to fulfil the needs of the consumer. To hear firsthand that the solutions we have crafted are being relied upon right across the industry reassures us that our perceived reputation is a valid one. A reputation of reliability, trusty and durable hardware, patient and helpful support, and a team who have a genuine concern for those operating in the road transport sector.

Across the two shows, we spoke with hundreds of visitors, some regulars, some new, but all of whom bring their own perspective, their own story and their own personality and that for us is what makes these shows worthwhile. We’ll be back next year; but if you missed us this year, get in touch and stay connected.

The Commercial Vehicle Show co-located with the Bus & Coach Expo 21 - 23 April 2026 at NEC Birmingham
Road Transport Expo 30 June - 02 July 2026 at NAEC Stoneleigh Park
