At the CV Show 2026, we are pleased to be launching vtach, a new solution designed to give van operators clear visibility of driver working time, driving activity and vehicle location within one integrated system.

Developed specifically for light commercial vehicles that are out of scope for tachograph r, vtach combines comprehensive GNSS vehicle tracking with detailed driver activity monitoring and speed data, providing fleet managers with a clear picture of how their vehicles and drivers are operating throughout the day.

For van fleets still relying on paper-based working time records, vtach offers a practical step towards digitalisation, replacing manual logs with accurate automated data while giving operators real-time insight into vehicle movement and driver activity.

This brand-new product also addresses an important challenge for those managing mixed fleets of HGVs and LCVs. While heavy vehicles operate within structured driver hours monitoring environments, vans often sit outside that framework. vtach helps close that gap, allowing conscientious operators to manage working time and driver activity consistently across their fleets while supporting driver welfare and road safety.

We have focused on making vtach both powerful and simple to install:

  • Plug-and-Play Installation: The unit connects directly via the OBD port, with an optional ignition feed to unlock advanced sleep features and monitoring.

  • Driver Key: Similar to a driver card, a unique USB-C driver identifier ensures that all location, speed and working time data are clearly recorded and associated with the correct driver.

  • Driver Support The simple in-vehicle display provides drivers with clear feedback on remaining drive time and upcoming rest requirements. This helps them better manage their working day and avoid fatigue on the road.

Following successful testing and integration, vtach is now supported and available to order from the following resellers, with more coming soon:

Come and see us at Stand 5F74 to see vtach in action alongside our wider range of tachograph download and telematics solutions.
